We asked Luigi to keep a little diary of what he was doing this week so that you can have a little more insight into a typical week for him…

Monday
Today I got up really early as I was off to see the X Factor auditions! I got there with a friend at like 11am and it was so so busy! Some people must have been queuing since like 9am! After waiting like 4 hours we finally got let into the studio. It was so cool! Lots of lights and video screens. There were some really good auditionees like this 18 year old girl and this guy (yeh I forgot their names, you’ll know who they are when you see them!). But there were also some really, really bad ones too like ‘Triple Trouble’ haha. I think I even started an ‘off off off’ chant, ooops! Will be good to see the show on TV in August!

Tuesday
I had to go to studio this morning to start recording some songs for my next album. It went really well and the new song I’ve done is better than anything on “Save His Shoes” already! Later in the afternoon I had to go to Kensington for some more meetings. It was so unbelievably hot that I walked home through Hyde Park instead of taking the bus like I had on the way up. I nearly died off the heat. I must have eaten like 10 ice creams and my new favourite drink is Snapple!

Wednesday
I woke up to hundreds of emails from my label today, all with photos of people to choose who I want in my band for my shows this Summer! After looking through them all, which took the best part of the morning, I narrowed it down to the final 3. A guy on keys, a guy on guitar and a girl on drums! Later in the evening I went off to see The Saturdays! I got so lost at the tube station as there were like no proper signage, but I eventually found it! It was so hot, like really hot! Anyway I think I like Pixie Lott now after seeing her live, but all that leg slapping I could have done without. The Satz were super as well. So great to see them on their own tour just a bit over a year since they started!

Thursday
More meetings today! Went over my ’setlist’ (well it’s just 2 songs!) that I’m doing in a few weeks time. Can’t wait, it’s going to be so epic. It’ll be my first live performances of my new album material and I’m so excited! I had a meeting with my stylist to talk about what style I’ll be going for. Don’t really know so I’ll have to think about that for the next week or so, any ideas? I have nothing planned for tomorrow so going to start the weekend off early, woo!

Friday
Wow how sad about Michael Jackson. I wasn’t a huge fan but I knew his hits like most people! Will be thinking about his family and children today, so sad that he left them behind being so relatively young still.
